Packaged Project

Some projects can be defined in enough detail to be able to quote them with full cost and timeframe estimates.   These are typically limited scope projects with identified deliverables and which do not require a large dependence on internal staff.  These can include primary and secondary research, competitive assessments, marketing & sales materials, some product requirements, and some training.   To fully scope them, a short assessment phase may be required to understand and agree on the deliverables.    A formal statement of work and quote is provided for these. 

Time-and-Materials Project

Most projects fall into this category, as the ability to estimate the scope of project is limited due to dependencies on internal staff or the work itself is broad and subject to change.    These can include strategic planning and roadmapping, most product planning and requirements activities, process implementations and larger training projects.    These are often carried out in multiple steps, starting with an assessment phase to understand the full scope of needs, followed by a short planning phase to identify high level deliverables and timeframes, and then an implementation phase.   Each phase typically involves an initial estimate followed by a formal statement of work.    

Interim Staffing

Sometimes you need an active involvement with your team to help out over a wide range of ongoing activities.   We can provide interim staffing of key roles including leading your product management team, hands-on product management to jumpstart the role or while you're attempting to fill the role permenantly.    We may also be able to help you staff the position through our network or by working with your recruiting team.
