Senior Product Manager, Kindle Ad Products

The Kindle Ad Products team recently launched a new advertising platform for Kindle with Special Offers. We are looking for strong product managers to join our team as we expand. As a Senior Product Manager in the Kindle Ad Products group, you will drive the vision and strategy for customer facing features. This role is inherently cross-functional—you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, finance and executive teams to launch new scalable features and develop and grow business opportunities for Amazon.com.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify new opportunities to build world-class products for our customers.
  • Drive customer awareness and adoption of products and features
  • Deliver quality products ensuring the best customer experience for both our advertisers and end-users
  • Write business requirement and functional specification documents based on intimate knowledge of the product, the market, and internal dependencies within the company.
  • Ensure clear communication and coordination across the business, design and development teams.
  • Help define and influence the long-term product roadmap.
  • Conduct business and financial analysis, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Work cross-functionally with designers, software development engineers, sales people, other product managers, and external partners to guarantee a smooth and efficient product delivery.
  • Define and establish the product vision, goals, supporting business metrics, and success indicators.
  • Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve to provide additional benefits to our customers.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years in product management, business management and/or marketing is required
  • A bachelor's degree is required
Preferred Qualifications

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • MBA
  • A proven track record delivering consumer products, digital technologies, media, and/or e-commerce
  • Experience with social gaming, community features and social media highly desirable
  • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • An ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills.
  • An ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired.
  • An ability to build strong internal relationships across Amazon and influence teams to deliver the right results for the business.
  • A composed, poised and professional demeanor.
  • A history of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
