Marketing | Seattle, WA, United States
Zulily has an active online community of over 4 million moms and we are looking someone who will continue to build a great, engaged, enthusiastic social media audience. We’re not just talking about tweets – zulily needs a marketing product manager who is on top of social media trends and who lives, breaths, eats, sleeps connecting with customers in new ways. We have a great social media presence including over 137K likes on Facebook and 10K+ twitter followers, and those numbers don't tell the whole story. Each one is a zulily member who loves to share with us, whether it is feedback, customer service issues, photos and more. We are a growing company with lots of opportunity. If you have a new idea or recognize a need for the company or website, you can make it happen. This role needs an enthusiastic self-starter who is not afraid to take initiative and responsibility for social media programs and projects. Responsibilities will include:
- Be responsible for targeted revenue initiatives and results via social media
- Identify new social media outlets and products and expand the zulily social media channel
- Develop new engagement programs for social media outlets (Think beyond the twitter party and giveaways. We want ideas that are sticky, viral and innovative.)
- Drive viral content and promotions
- Position zulily as a trend-setter and tastemaker with online moms
- Work with zulily’s creative team to generate content for social media channels (tweets, video, blog posts, etc)
Experience & Qualifications should include:
- Fully versed and current in social media platforms and trends
- 8+ years of social media, advertising, product and/or marketing experience in a professional capacity.
- 2-3+ years of project management experience. We need someone who can run a project from concept to launch and in the weeks, months, years, after.
- Excellent communication and writing skills (no exceptions)
- Customer service experience preferred
- Management of small teams a plus
