Sr. Manager, Product Management, Wi-Fi Calling
T-Mobile is looking for a talented manager to lead a team of product managers responsible for the entire life cycle of T-Mobile Wi-Fi Calling, a T-Mobile branded service that provides indoor coverage where traditional cellular networks can't.
You and your team will be responsible for product innovation, product positioning, business case definition, product experience definition, product lifecycle management, go-to-market strategies, feature evolution and partner management. You will work closely with engineering teams, design teams, business development teams and project management teams to deliver a great customer experience that drives revenue and value for T-Mobile. As the business owner, you and your team will set the product objectives, track performance, and ensure the products meet the goals set.
Primary Duties
- Identify target customer needs and opportunities through primary and secondary research in partnership with T-Mobile research teams
- Utilize knowledge of customer, competition, and T-Mobile value proposition to define product and business strategy
- Partner with business development and product realization to secure & manage relationships with key partners and content providers
- Deliver world-class customer experience in partnership with engineering and design
- Effectively position and market Wi-FI Calling to target customers using passive and active campaign tactics
- Identify key service metrics, monitor these metrics, and use the data to drive continuous improvement in quality, performance, and value
Experience and Education
- 7 to 9 years of product management experience including leading cross function teams with demonstrated success working in a large organization
- 3 to 5 years of experience managing a team with a direct reporting structure
- Product management experience delivering web sites and/or services
- Strong partner management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Mobile product experience is a plus
- BS required, MBA preferred
