Do you want to play a key role in driving sales and marketing programs for our paid search advertising business?
Based on our Bing momentum, adCenter strategy, and our Yahoo! partnership we have a huge opportunity to drive search advertising revenue and market share gains through increasing advertiser and publisher engagement in our search marketplace. This role, reporting to the SMB Performance Lead, will partner closely with the SMB Sales, Service & Marketing teams to support the development and implementation of key initiatives to grow the overall segment. The role will primarily focus on the North American market, but will provide guidance and support to international field teams. You will draw heavily on your ability to influence and inspire internal and external partners.
The Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for the following key areas: • Sales Enablement – product knowledge & insights, opportunity identification & opportunity sizing to develop impactful programs • Channel Management – joint planning , communication around new revenue opportunities and ensuring the field has the tools to execute • Best practice sharing – advocate for and represent the SMB channel within the MSA BG on key product & marketplace opportunities • Sales feedback – ensure market & execution requirements from field flow back to the MSA BG through input to initiative identification & prioritization
Required Qualifications • Deep experience in paid search with an strong understanding of the unique characteristics of growing and servicing the SMB channel • Proven track record – working effectively with sales and marketing teams and/or with engineering & product management groups • Great communicator and leader – Ability to influence key internal stakeholders very important. • Drive for results – proven ability to drive program from opportunity analysis through to execution and tracking • Strong passion & understanding for the SMB customer • Excellent written and verbal communication skills – ability to translate complex product challenges into field & customer facing opportunities
Preferred Qualifications • At least 3 years of Search and/or field program management experience • BA and/or MBA preferred • Analytically & strategically focused – ability to drive analysis and draw strategic conclusions for investment and business • Quick decision maker – ability to decide under tight timing and pressure • Ability to work through complex organization structure to drive results
