Job Description

AmazonLocal is looking for a smart, hard-working, data-driven product manager to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management skills, relentless execution, and new ideas to create great customer experiences and help meet our business goals. AmazonLocal is a deals marketplace offering savings up to 75% on restaurants, spas, events, and more. This new business within Amazon offers a creative, fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you'll be at the center of Amazon innovation.

 

Responsibilities

  • Define, build, and serve as the ongoing business owner for world-class merchandising and marketing experiences, with a focus on leveraging technology and automation.
  • Work closely with other Amazon teams and AmazonLocal stakeholders to prioritize and focus efforts given multiple, competing opportunities.
  • Write business requirement documents based on knowledge of the product, the customer, and internal dependencies within the company.
  • Ensure clear communication and coordination across business, design, and development teams.
  • Conduct business and financial analysis, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Identify and help develop new opportunities to drive subscriber growth and distribution of our offers.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years' experience in product management or related field
  • Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA
  • 5+ years' experience in product management
  • Experience delivering technology products/services in a high-growth environment
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and proven ability to influence others
  • Strong experience problem-solving, using quantitative analysis to drive decision-making, and scoping business and technical product requirements
  • Experience delivering product features from conception through completion
