Job Description

Retail Customer Experience (RCX) team is looking for a Sr. Product Manager to drive the future of the Amazon.com checkout experience. As a product manager you will define the product strategy, vision, and roadmaps to delivery a great checkout experience.A successful candidate will have an background in developing customer-facing experiences that customers love and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.

 

As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Participate in the development of the product strategy and vision supported by internal and external analysis
  • Define product roadmaps based on the strategy and vision
  • Develop requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product
  • Work closely with user design, program management, and engineering teams in an agile environment to launch products
  • Evangelize roadmap and buy-in from partner teams
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance, and operational support
  • Manage delivery of current products concurrently with future product planning
Basic Qualifications

Basic qualifications

  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in Product Management
  • A bachelor's degree preferably in computer science or engineering; an M.B.A. is also desirable

  • Experience in managing customer facing products
  • High attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills; ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
  • Superior verbal and written communications skills.
  • History of teamwork and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
