Amazon.com is looking for a strategic leader to be a Senior Product Manager on the Business & Strategy team of Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA). This position will require a strong blend of bias for action with the ability to think big and identify strategic issues over the long-term. The position will be responsible for defining and delivering improvements to FBA to increase the value for the buyer, the seller, and Amazon.
This role will be expected to lead a team across a subset of the following initiatives:
- Identifying opportunities to drive the FBA P&L from a business perspective
- Interacting with the retail category teams to: plan the unit and fast-track goals for the year, ensure appropriate linkages on key priority initiatives, and drive the business forward to meet those goals
- Owning the product roadmap and managing the prioritization and monthly sprint process
- Interacting with international countries to ensure we have a strategy to drive the business forward in each country and identify ways to better localize FBA to the specific seller needs in those countries
- Helping create successful sellers through scalable, proactive account management on key topics, linking with account management in sales and MPMs, identifying features to improve sellers businesses, owning communication with sellers and site-related communication on strategic topics
- Working on special strategic projects, driving a holistic initiative linking multiple individual projects
Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) leverages Amazon’s global fulfillment and customer service network for third party sellers who want to grow their business on and off Amazon.com. FBA enables customers to take advantage of Free Super Saver Shipping and Amazon Prime on third party items, while sellers can focus on selling rather than shipping. The position will be responsible for defining and delivering improvements to FBA to increase the value for the buyer, the seller, and Amazon. The role requires a high level of interaction and synergy across many elements of the Amazon organization, including our Retail and Marketplace businesses. The role is global in scope and includes growing FBA in the US, Europe and Asia. FBA is a high-profile, high-growth division within Amazon.com and is one of the strategic opportunities for the company
