| Job Description |
Preferrable locations for position: Troy, MI, Seattle, WA, Milford, OH or any current Siemens PLM office location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages staff who are responsible for the definition and direction of a product or product family throughout all stages of the product life cycle (concept through end-of-life.).
- Provides direct leadership of a single team or process area.
- Receives direction from more senior leaders in the form of desired results and translates desired results into specific tasks to be assigned to teams.
- Has direct responsibility for day-to-day activities of the team and associated procedures; contributes to policies.
- Manages personnel career paths and development, including appraisals.
- Recommends solutions to issues to their management.
- Spends a large percentage of time serving as a technical member of the team, with an increased percentage spent reviewing the work of others.
- Manages within budget constraints.
- Passes on communications from higher level leaders, and communicates translation of tactical direction to team.
Minimum Requirements:
- 10-15 years Product Development/Technology Sales and Marketing experience.
- Education: Bachelor Degree required.
- The position includes extensive interfacing with the customer and clear documentation/prioritization/ negotiation of use cases which will drive
the product roadmap.
- This is a hands-on position that requires ownership and authoring of specification and prioritization/ scoping of the deliverables and ensuring alignment and program management of these consistent with internal Siemens PLM product development processes.
