Do you want to make a significant impact in a new and growing business area for Microsoft? If you are a big-picture thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit interested in creating the consumer brand, messaging, and marketing campaign for a brand new set of products, this is the right place for you!

As the lead consumer product marketer on our team, you will define and own the consumer marketing plan from end to end. This includes defining our brand strategy, visual ID, messaging and then into our end to end consumer marketing plan from launch through to sustaining momentum. You’ll collaborate closely with the owners of product management and the field to assist with clean execution.

Specific responsibilities include:

1. Build the brand strategy and execution for a new set of products
2. Define the visual ID system
3. Write the messaging to help the consumers understand our products’ value propositions
4. Build the end to end consumer marketing strategy including above the line and below the line advertising
5. Own the consumer launch
6. Build the web presence and determine how to manage it day to day
7. Collaborate with the PR team to define and roll out our announce plan
8. Continue to evolve our marketing strategy to address key milestones in the consumer purchase cycle
9. Build an ongoing customer relationship strategy
10. Onboard and manage the agencies required to support our business

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have excellent consumer marketing instinct and experience. In addition, they must have ability to deal with ambiguity; proven verbal and written communication skills and strong customer focus. The candidate must demonstrate passion for, and ability to be successful with complex cross-group projects. 5+ years of consumer marketing or brand management or related business experience. Background with mobility markets, competitive operating systems, and product strategy is strongly preferred. CPG background is desirable. MBA is a plus, while not required.
