Expedia is looking for a talented Sr. Technical Product Manager (TPM) for the Online Partner Development (OPD) team, part of the Expedia Worldwide Engineering (EWE) team. On this team, you will utilize your critical thinking and technical skills to help directly drive Expedia’s success and will be instrumental in leading Expedia’s expansion into the loyalty space.

As a Sr. TPM for OPD, you will work closely with the other members of the team to build and maintain sites and features to allow earning and burning of Expedia-branded and partner-branded loyalty points.  You will interface with business owners and other members of the Expedia Technology team as you play a major role in expanding a new business for Expedia. This work includes requirements gathering, writing technical specifications, and project management to ensure that a high quality product is delivered on time.  You will get the opportunity to work in the entire technology stack of Expedia and all the major lines of business.  Play a major role on a new team as Expedia expands into new markets and businesses!

Responsibilities:
• Work with the members of the OPD team to create new partner loyalty sites and loyalty features on existing Expedia sites.  
• Engineer a world-class platform for Expedia-branded and partner-branded loyalty travel sites.
• Work with the business owners and other technology teams to ensure that there is a clear understanding of the requirements for each site and feature.  Gather that information and communicate it to the rest of the OPD team so that it can be developed and tested accurately.
• Interface with a wide variety of teams inside and outside of Expedia.  

Requirements:
• Ability to ramp up quickly on any type of new technology (from hardware to software infrastructure to core Expedia technology).
• Proven track record in handling multiple, complex projects/releases and keeping track of details of each project in parallel.
• Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and work independently as well as in a team environment.

Qualifications:
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering or related field only
• Minimum 7+ years in a Software Development organization
• Proven record of delivering high quality projects from early stages through delivery
• Knowledge and understanding of SDLC practices
• Deep knowledge of Internet technologies
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong presentation and persuasion skills
• Ability to drill down to core requirements from random requests
