Position Overview:
Expedia, the winner of the Web Analytics Association Practitioner of the Year is looking to fill our web analytics and testing platform leader. This role will define and innovate on a a wide array of web analytic and tracking platforms across Expedia's Global branded websites – the world’s largest travel company.

The Product Manager, Web Analytics at Expedia will work with a global team based both in Seattle (Bellevue), WA and London, UK.   The role includes managing the capabilities of the platforms, enhancing, refining, maintaining and developing tracking methodologies of the customer’s experience on Expedia, the performance of the website and its operational use.  You will direct, use and deploy a cutting edge selection of platforms with a company that is best-in-industry awarded for web analytics. You will be a member of the Global Product team, partnering with Global Analysis & Global Marketing to ensure that the right tracking and analytic capabilities are present and world-class.

The ideal candidate will have experience leading web analytics platforms at a transactional eCommerce company. Travel industry (or a love of travel) is preferred.

Qualifications:
•Demonstrated ability to manage and deliver projects; structure process and  work with others.
•5-7 years experience with managing a web analytics platform such as Omniture, Google Analytics, Tealeaf or WebTrends,.
•Strong understanding of the uses of web analytics in all aspects of an eCommerce business
•Ability to partner with eCommerce Product managers to understand analytics needs.
•Strong understanding and ability for data analysis and reporting, and methods for dissemination and communication to business owners and leadership.
•Experience managing a 7-10 person team
•Ability to manage a complex environment that has long running projects, across multiple environments/platforms with frequent changes and interruptions.
•Bachelors/Masters degree; MBA is a plus
