Amazon's Shop with Points business needs an experienced Sales Engineer to lead technical Business Development for upcoming future partner launches in the U.S. and internationally, and lead product development initiatives to enhance the Shop with Points platform and business.

You will be accountable for leading technical Business Development discussions (from early stage through late stage / contract negotiations) with Shop with Points prospects and future launch partners. You will also serve as the business lead for product developments to enhance the Shop with Points platform and customer experience. You will think creatively and provide leadership and innovation to improve the Shop with Points customer experience. In these roles you will coordinate closely with Shop with Points Business Development and product teams as well as technical and operational counterparts. This position will involve regular communication with management on status, risks and financial and operational program metrics. Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will be strong in more than one or all of the following areas: a) business development; b) software product development, including creating business justifications and functional requirements for site features; and c) project management.
Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, will find practical and simple solutions to complicated problems without sacrificing quality or core functionality, and be entrepreneurial, self-sufficient and drive to get things done.
Essential to this role is the ability to multitask in an environment of competing demands, both internal and external to the company. Candidates should have a clear, communicative presence in person and in writing, and have the discretion to make sound business judgments.
