The Amazon video games team is building cool new offerings aimed at propelling our customers’ gaming experiences into the digital era.  We can’t say much about our efforts, but we are trying to break several molds and launch entirely new technologies and businesses around digital games.  The ideal person for this role is an avid gamer and have proven ability to build and lead high performing teams that consistently deliver results.  Extra points if you have developed games before.

Your day-to-day responsibilities are to:

• Write high quality business requirement and functional specification documents based on intimate knowledge of the space and internal dependencies
• Interact with project sponsors, project stakeholders and multiple business and technical teams to define and deliver complex features
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints
• Communicate project issues and status in a concise, accurate, and professional manner
• Build and maintain integrated project schedules that account for internal/external dependencies and constraints
• Remain flexible to changing priorities, open to new ideas and have Amazon's success firmly in your focus

• 3+ years in product management and/or project management is required
• Bachelor’s degree in either a technology or business discipline
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results on technical projects
• Exceptional communication, analytical and problem solving skills
• Consistently drives highly innovative solutions using exceptional business and technical insight
• Knowledge of the video games and mobile games industry and virtual economy
• MBA a plus
