This role requires understanding of product planning as well as deep expertise with data warehouses, front-end reporting systems, web analytics tagging and BI data models. In addition, strong analytical skills, cross-group collaboration, excellent presentation skills and exceptional storytelling skills to lead a large v-team will be needed. In this role, not only is defining a good solution critical - but working cross-functionally with other teams to ensure successful creation, then adoption and usage is essential for success.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Defining the strategy and business requirements for our data collection and reporting platforms - including internal web analytics and network-wide reporting system Collaborating with internal Engineering and Solution Management teams on all phases of the project lifecycle and systems operations Creating key customer adoption scenarios through implementation and utilization Collaboration with other Business teams supporting adoption of said products and services Delivering strategic insights and analysis of customer usage that positively impacts the customer scenarios and business requirements of our products Work cross-company with key business stakeholders and partners to define and track key product performance indicators (KPIs), as well as release-specific success metrics Collaborate with external vendor resources, including development of RFPs, vendor selection and management Contribute to and/or present the plan to senior management for buy-in and status updates on a regular basis.
Desired competencies and experiences: 7 years of experience in product management Experience with the implementation and operations of data warehouse and BI reporting systems Experience with enterprise data models 5 years of experience in the web analytics space Critical thinking, analysis, reporting, and problem solving skills Self-starter who can work autonomously and across teams Strong organization and prioritization skills Strong communication skills - including the ability to document findings, draw conclusions from disparate data and present relevant and concise recommendations to senior managers Demonstrate collaborative skills, including the ability to work with international partners in a diverse environment Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex situations in clear terms to management and large groups BA (4 year degree) required / MBA preferred
