Opportunity Snapshot:
This position is responsible for leading feature definition and prioritization, bring new versions to market, as well as participate in product strategy for Cisco’s messaging platforms within the Cisco’s Unified Communications (UC) Solution. You will join a team of bright, dedicated and results oriented individuals that will challenge you to deliver your best results.
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Market Analysis
• Extensive collaboration with Engineering to define product strategy, feature requirements and prioritization
• Extensive collaboration with other messaging team members including TMEs, Solutions Marketing in the development, refinement, positioning and execution of the product roadmap for the message platform.
• High customer involvement in order to garner customer feedback on key features as well as participating in Customer Executive Briefings
• Align strategies with other product team including UC Solution product management
• Managing scope within Agile Releases
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Cisco Unified Communications products including Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity or Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco Unified Presence, and Cisco Mobility. Successful track record of delivering results in a large matrix managed organization is required.
Knowledge of the Unified Communication market and competitive technologies is a plus. Knowledge/Experience with delivering audio and video solutions is a plus. Demonstrated familiarity with Agile methodologies is required. Demonstrated superior verbal, written communication, presentation, technical and decision-making skills are required.
This position is based in Seattle, Washington with occasional travel. Travel requirements approximately 5-10%.
